Chennai: TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited (NSE: TVSSCS, BSE: 543965) has strengthened Caterpillar Inc.’s global supply network from India by establishing a 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility at the TVS SCS Chennai FTWZ.
The new TVS SCS Chennai FTWZ facility is located in the Free Trade and Warehousing Zone in Mannur Village, around 30 km from Chennai, and is designed to enable multi-country parts procurement to support Caterpillar’s manufacturing operations.
The TVS SCS Chennai FTWZ facility is strategically positioned along the Chennai–Bengaluru Industrial Corridor and benefits from strong connectivity to key maritime gateways including Chennai Port, Ennore Port, and Kamarajar Port.
Together, these ports handle nearly 20 percent of India’s container traffic. The TVS SCS Chennai FTWZ facility supports the ‘Make in India for the World’ initiative while strengthening Caterpillar’s India operations as a scalable and resilient node in its global supply chain network.

TVS SCS Chennai FTWZ: Warehouse Designed to Optimise Lead Times
With approximately 4,000 pallet positions, the modern TVS SCS Chennai FTWZ warehouse is designed to optimise lead times, reduce landed costs, and enable faster response to fluctuations in global demand and supply.
